KALA / FIELD PLAY / RULES 1.0.0
One collection. Four planned pauses. Choose Shoreline Relay or Pocket Expedition before departure. Use common-backed cards in sleeves and keep receipt backs separate.
Pick up to four species and up to four different catches of each species. Include at least four cards across two species. Current Run also needs a repeated species. Each catch appears once; two certificate versions of one catch count as one catch.
Record the deck, game and crew target before departure. Keep the pack fixed. Rarity, evidence grades and catch size add zero points to these games.
Play one Current Run turn per planned pause. Shuffle the deck and reveal one card.
Cooperate on each decision. You can play all four turns on shore.
Play School Mosaic together. Use a 4×4 board with 16 cards, 3×3 with 9, or 2×2 with 4. Shuffle, deal a two-card hand, and choose rows or columns for the variety goal.
Crew targets: 24 points on 4×4, 13 on 3×3, 6 on 2×2. Fill the grid to settle the score.
Stow active gear, secure the boat, and finish fish care before handling cards or a phone. Stop play when conditions change. Use sleeves and a dry surface. Follow local fishing rules and protected-species guidance.
Catch count and catch size add no moves or points. There is no timer. A no-catch trip can finish every chapter. End the trip at any point and keep the partial practice result.
After normal fishing and fish care, record a pending note to submit through Kala. A field note remains provisional until the production verification process returns a decision. An approved journal attachment never rewrites the frozen deck or score.
Private fields stay withheld. Use the existing Kala submission flow after returning. These paper rules and the browser prototype issue no verification certificate.
