These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of verifiedonkala.com and the Kala early-access list (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Verified Fishing Inc. (“Kala,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site or joining the early-access list, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Scope. This Site is an introduction to Kala and a waitlist. It is not the Kala product. Nothing here is an offer of a paid product, and signing up does not create any purchase obligation. When the product launches, it will have its own terms.
1. Eligibility
The Site is intended for people 13 and older. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian before joining the early-access list. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. The early-access list
- When you submit your email, we add you to the early-access list and may send you a welcome email and occasional updates.
- You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing hi@kala.fish.
- Joining the list is not a guarantee of access, a price, a feature, or a launch date. We may change or discontinue the early-access program at any time.
- Please provide an email address you control, and do not sign up other people without their permission.
How we handle the data you submit is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, fraudulent, or other people’s information.
- Spam, flood, or abuse the signup form or any other feature.
- Attempt to hack, probe, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure.
- Scrape or systematically harvest content from the Site.
- Use the Site to violate any applicable law.
4. Intellectual property
The Kala name, the “Verified Fishing” and “Verified in stone” marks and lines, the logo, the written definitions and copy, the visual design, and the code of this Site are the property of Verified Fishing Inc. and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. The definition pages exist to be read and cited; quoting them with attribution is welcome.
5. Content and accuracy
The Site explains what Kala is building. We hold ourselves to the honesty standard described in our Editorial Standards: we do not publish fabricated numbers, and where a product detail is not yet pinned down we say so plainly rather than inventing specifics. Even so, the Site is informational and forward-looking; features, names, and timing can change before launch.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verified Fishing Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable data protection and consumer laws.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The current effective date is May 28, 2026.
10. Governing law & severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Verified Fishing Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of- laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full force and effect.
